Holiday or Observance I Forgot Day

It’s I Forgot Day.
I seem to be the queen of forgetting where I put things…sometimes important things. I even tell myself I will remember but then I get busy and before I know it I am doing five things at once and I’m writing two stories and drawing five pictures and I run to the store to get things for dinner and then I cook dinner and eat.
Now I’m finally back to the project I was working on earlier.
Hummmm…now where did I put that?
I look a few places but I can’t find it.
At one point in my life I would then punish myself for not being able to remember.
Then I remember ‘me da’ telling me to “depend on God” because God can do anything.
So, I grab my dog because he is a great therapist and as I slowly pet him I relax and I ask God to tell me where I left the thing I’m looking for.
Sometimes God reminds me. But if I’m really nervous I ask God which room it’s in. Then I ask which part of that room it’s in.
There are times when God puts a picture in my head and I can visualize whereit’s located. When that happened go to that spot and find it.
There are other times when I touch a counter and I can feel where it’s located and go to it.
There are many many ways God helps me to find what I lost.
All the days of my life I forget things when I get anxious, but that’s not a problem with God’s help, in all my 71 years God has never failed to help me find what was lost.
Today, on National I Forgot Day, tell yourself it’s okay. You are human.
If you’ve forgotten, ask God to help you retrieve what you lost.
It may take a little time for you to understand how God speaks to you, but God WILL speak to you if you don’t give up.
God is so amazing…SO Ah-maaa-zing!
God can even help this little squirrel find what is lost.
If God can help me, God can help anyone. ;)
