Today’s Holiday

National Park Service day celebrates the beginning of National Parks in 1916. On August 25, 1916 US President Woodrow Wilson created the National Park Service making it possible for land to be set aside and preserved for generations to visit and enjoy.

Currently many lay-offs have been ordered by the currect administration. You can write to your Congressional Representatives to demand rehiring and restoring our National Parks. Remember WE are the People. WE can fight back.
